Wessex Group recognise our responsibilities towards the environment and the importance of environmental protection and improvement.
We also recognise that our activities have direct and indirect environmental impacts, and endeavour to manage these in a responsible manner. We are committed to a programme of continuous improvement to minimise the impact of our business on the environment.
We will:
- Comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice
- Continuously seek to improve environmental performance
- Reduce pollution and waste
- Reduce the use of all energy and supplies
- Raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters
- Expect similar environmental standards from all suppliers and contractors
- Liaise with the local community
- Participate in discussions about environmental issues
