While experience in insurance is beneficial, it is not necessarily essential. You will need to be a good team player, have a positive can-do attitude, be willing to learn and delight in giving excellent customer service. Additionally, working in an industry regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority you must be able to demonstrate good ethical standards and share our commitment to good consumer outcomes.
Training and development
We provide comprehensive internal training, have a supportive performance management approach (annual and interim performance appraisals along with annual personal development plans) and offer financially supported study through the Chartered Insurance Institute for staff wishing to obtain formal qualifications.
We offer an excellent range of benefits including a non-contributory pension scheme where the company contributes 10% of your salary (you can choose to make your own additional voluntary contributions), company bonus scheme, private medical insurance, death in service life cover, childcare vouchers, interest free public transport loans and a casual dress code when visitors are not present. We provide annual leave of 22 days rising to 27 (in addition to statutory holidays) and an opportunity to earn a further 8 days in flexi-time with a standard 35 hour week.
